Overview
What high alumina cement is for.
A range of high alumina refractory cements manufactured from selected raw materials.
Three grades are available — Grade 50, Grade 60 and Grade 70 — covering alumina contents from 50% to 71% for refractory castables, mortars and linings.
- Excellent refractoriness and thermal stability
- High strength retention at elevated temperatures
- Strong bonding for refractory castables and linings
- Consistent performance in demanding heat environments
Manufacture & testing
- Manufacture
- Manufactured from selected raw materials at our Porbandar plant.
- Strength testing
- Cold crushing strength measured on 1:3 vibrated mortar using standard graded sand.
- Cement testing
- CCS testing, drying at 110°C, specific gravity and specific surface area.
- Shelf life
- 6 months from the date of manufacture.
